“Found on a whim, I quickly fell asleep on the first chapter of one of my favorite books, “Pride and Prejudice”. Sometimes, I’ll make myself sit up and listen, but almost always, I’ll slumber within the first ten minutes— though sometimes, I can’t stay up that long at all! Since I was a child, I’ve had trouble sleeping, and staying asleep. I didn’t grow up with stories, but I told them to myself. This beautiful private practice that I can implement as an adult is inspires me to grow more creative with my own internal world. ‘V’s soft and quiet voice is like gauze in the mist, catching every delightful detail, and releasing them all effortlessly. I have to admit, I feel a bit spoiled now that I’ve heard such great reading from this podcast. Neither broadcaster is overly intentional in their consonants, and such brings delightful rest and easy breathing. Not to mention, my cat likes this podcast too. She’ll often climb into bed (when she wouldn’t before!) to sleep at night with me. Please continue to read the classics Pride and Prejudice and Little Women. While Jane Eyre may be too intense for some, I wouldn’t mind more of those chapters either!”
